Keith Menzel
Marketing & Investor Relations
Keith is a member of the marketing and investor relations team, focused on fundraising, developing marketing strategy, and client service. Prior to joining Pine River in 2015, Keith was a Portfolio Manager with Waterstone Capital Management from 2004 to 2014, where he was part of a team that identified investment opportunities, allocated capital, hedged and managed risk. From 2002 to 2004, he was a Partner and Portfolio Manager with University Capital Strategies Group, where he developed the firm’s fundamental research process. From 2000 to 2002, Keith was a Director and Portfolio Manager at First American Asset Management. From 1992 to 2000, he held various research positions at John G. Kinnard and Company, Dain Bosworth, and American Express Asset Management. Keith received an MBA from the University of Minnesota, Carlson School of Management and a BS in Economics from the University of Minnesota.
